FULL-TIME DESIGNER
We are looking for a permanent, full-time designer. Wedding weeks are Tuesday-Saturday (or Sunday for Sunday weddings) and non wedding weeks are very flexible!
We are looking for anyone who is interested in learning sustainable floral design practices and loves weddings! We want someone who is reliable, responsible, kind, friendly, and a team player. You will work alongside our established design team to learn the ins and outs of wedding floral design. We are open to all creative-minded applicants that are able to demonstrate their eye for design and ability to pick up techniques quickly. Floral design experience is ideal, but not required. For any applicants with previous floral design experience, we’ll be looking for your ability to design (or to learn to design) in a way that is true to our style.
Job responsibilities:
- floral design for weddings to include bouquets, centerpieces, wearable flowers, and more
- setup and breakdown at weddings
- prepping hard goods and cleaning buckets
- processing flowers as they are delivered
- occasional errands to pick up flowers, hard-goods, installation mechanics, etc.
- client consultations
- writing contracts for future weddings
- sourcing and ordering flowers and hard goods
- studio work every Tuesday-Friday during busy season
- some studio work throughout the off-season, as well as work from home responsibilities
- hours will vary, but weekday work is typically from 9-4, with some later evenings on our busiest weeks
- studio work will be in our studio in Fairfax Station VA
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weddings take place throughout the DMV
- reliable transportation is required
- the job can be very physically taxing - must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods of time, climb and work from ladders, and be willing to get your hands dirty

Breakdown Manager
Job Description:
- the majority of the work will be performed on Saturdays and Sundays, starting in Fairfax Station, VA and moving throughout the DMV
- reliable transportation is required
- the job can be very physically taxing - must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods of time, climb and work from ladders, and be willing to get your hands dirty
- hourly, part time position
- pay rate determined based on skill level with the potential for raises as experience is gained
Duties will include:
- loading and unloading vehicles
- assisting with on-site wedding setup
- managing breakdown of the wedding at the end of the night
- loading and unloading vehicles
