Floral Internship

Interested in learning about wedding flowers and the business behind it? Have a desire to learn sustainable floral practices? Come join us for our 2026 summer and fall seasons! We are offering a 12-week paid internship from August 3 - October 28. We'd love to have you be a part of our team!

What you'll learn:

- design techniques required to perform wedding work - bouquets, centerpieces, installations, etc

- sustainable design practices

- how to prep hard goods for wedding days

- how to clean buckets with a drill

- best practices for processing flowers

- how to load a delivery vehicle like Tetris Royalty

- on-site design work

Internship responsibilities:

- at least 2 days in the studio, Tuesday-Friday

- at least 10 Saturdays doing setup and breakdown at weddings

- hours will vary, but weekday work is typically from 9:30-4:30

- Tuesday through Friday work will be in our studio in Fairfax Station VA

- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weddings take place throughout the DMV

- reliable transportation is required

- the job can be very physically taxing - must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods of time, climb and work from ladders, and be willing to get your hands dirty

- paid, twelve week internship
