Tucked into the rolling hills of Middleburg, Virginia, this welcome party at Goodstone Inn felt less like an event and more like a deep exhale before the wedding weekend began. It was intentionally small and beautifully intimate, a gathering of the couple’s closest people, brought together in one of the most charming corners of Virginia horse country. The warm tones of the palette created an atmosphere that was elegant but unpretentious, the kind of place that invites you to linger. The tables were adorned with flowers grown locally, their seasonality and natural movement reflecting the landscape just beyond the terrace.
