About Cedar and Lime Collective

We’re so glad you’re here! We absolutely love every single one of our planners and we cannot wait to start working with you! From the very first time we meet, to picking up the last petal at the end of each wedding day, we are fully dedicated to you and the rest of your vendor team. We truly believe that team work makes the dream work and focus on strong relationships with you and your other vendors in order to ensure a smooth planning process and an even smoother wedding day.

At Cedar and Lime Co, we use fresh, seasonal, local flowers for our arrangements. We are committed to providing our clients with the best possible flowers, and to us, that means locally and American grown. We create gorgeous floral designs, using naturally and healthfully grown flowers, while promoting and supporting a more sustainable American grown floral industry. Through purchasing local flowers, we are able to support our local economy. We are closely partnered with local flower farms and are able to be fully involved in the growing process, supporting our farmers along the way. 

We prioritize the donation of leftover flowers through Petal Share, an organization that repurposes event flowers for anyone in need of a comforting gesture, often nursing homes, battered women’s shelters, hospice centers, and homeless youth centers. 

 

With every event, we focus on sustainability. We have almost completely eliminated single use plastic and have completely eliminated the use of floral foam, replacing it with sustainable products like chicken wire and Oshun pouches. We compost any floral waste we create and reuse vessels and hard goods whenever possible. When our flowers don’t come locally, we recycle all packaging. 

THE PLANNER EXPERIENCE

I. Consultation

We get on a video call or meet at the studio to get to know each other and discuss the details of your couple's event. This meeting helps us get to know your couple and get a sense of their personality and style. It's the first step towards building their floral story. The consultation can take place with or without your couple. We let you take the lead on when to involve them in the planning process. We encourage you to send design boards, style guides, itemized needs list and their budget before this step so we can get on the same page before the consultation.

We have an $8,000 minimum spend on wedding florals. You can view our client guide here. While each event is completely custom, this guide was created to give couples an idea as to what they can expect for their floral budget. 

 

Email is our preferred form of communication. Our inbox acts as a to-do list, so emails are sure to be seen and responded to in a timely manner.

 

Our office days are Tuesday-Thursday. We're busy designing on Fridays, working weddings on Saturdays, and Sundays and Mondays are our weekend!
